I wish I were liking it more - the docs I'm working with are great (and have the same sort of sense of humor you speak of) but I leave the locked ward feeling worn out. The depressed and SI'd people wear me down, and I don't think I see enough manics to balance it out.
I'm glad your electives are starting to line up! I have done a lot of web research and read and read and read but I'm no closer to knowing where I'm going to rotate next year. When is your spring break? Perhaps it'd be possible to get together and knit (or crochet?).

Also, I took the book of basic patterns for everything in every gauge with me to Ecuador, and I've been using it quite a bit. It's the only knitting book I own, and it is so useful!
